3 minutes a week workout

I've been studying/reading a lot about human physiology lately.

I found this piece, which talks about how 3 minutes exercise a week can make difference to your overall health.

It is really simple but kills you if you do it full throttle for one minute

1.     Warm Up for a minute
2.     Full throttle for 20 seconds
3.     Relax for a minute
4.     Full throttle for 20 seconds
5.     Relax for a minute
6.     Full throttle for 20 seconds

What I wish for this Hindu New Year?

Diwali is one of the biggest festival according to Hindu tradition, it marks win of good over evil. Also Hindu New Year starts from today. As per human nature we(most) wish things to happen every New Year, either Christian or Hindu or Muslim or any faith.

So being a human I wish something happens or others do (without much effort from me..Lazy me!). Wishing is good as it does not cost anything.

Why Worry and Why Pray?

A brilliant poem I read from the book Anchored Boat (previous post) which is really inspiring. I think positive-attitude will also go very well instead of PRAY below.

WORRY? why worry? what can worry do?
It never keeps a trouble from overtaking you.
It gives you indigestion and sleepless hours at night, and fills with gloom the days, however fair and bright.
It puts frown upon the face and sharpness to the tone.
We are unfit to live with others and unfit to live alone.
WORRY? why worry? what can worry do?
It never keeps a trouble from overtaking you.

PRAY? why pray? what can praying do?
Praying really changes things, arranges life anew.
It's good for digestion, gives peaceful sleep at night and fills the grayest, gloomiest day with rays of glooming light.
It puts smile upon your face,The love-note in your tone,
Makes you fit to live with others and fit to live alone.
PRAY? why pray? what can praying do?
It brings God from heaven to live and work with you.

Mirror

When you get what you want in your struggle for self
And the world makes you king for a day,
Just go to a mirror and look at yourself
And see what THAT man has to say.

For, it isn't your father or mother or wife
Who judgement upon you must pass;
The fellow whose verdict counts most in your life
Is the one staring back from the glass.
