My new adventure FebFast: 28 days alcohol free

I’ve dobbed myself into FebFast challenge which is basically staying away from alcohol for 28 days. It was a rushed decision which was taken in less than 5 minutes.
About febfast: Febfast is a challenge and a tonic for all drinkers, to see if they can take a break from alcohol for the 28 days of February. This short break is both a timely health kick and a vital community fundraiser: money raised helps programs for vulnerable families and young adults tackling serious alcohol and drug issues.More about them here.
I’m only a social drinker so don’t think it’s a big ask for me to survive without alcohol for 28 days. I guess there will be two (good) things I’m going to achieve:

Self Confidence: If I manage to stay away from booze for 28 days, it is definitely going to increase my self confidence (or EGO).

Professor Raj Persaud posits that true self-confidence comes from an attitude where you:

Promise yourself, no matter how difficult the problem life throws at you, that you will try as hard as you can to help yourself. You acknowledge that sometimes your efforts to help yourself may not result in success, as often being properly rewarded is not in your control.[2]

Charity: The FebFast organisation is really doing good thing with the money donated. The money is going to:
Youth Support + Advocacy service
YSAS is a leading health agency annually reaching over 1300 highly vulnerable and high risk youth experiencing, or at risk of, drug and alcohol dependence. More details on their website.
Family Drug Support
Family Drug Support receives over 2300 calls a month from worried families experiencing first-hand the trauma and chaos of having family members with drug dependency.More details on their website.

There are multiple payment options (Cash,Card,PayPal) for your comfort so payment method should not be an excuse for not donating.
I urge you to help me raise money for this brilliant cause which will help people live better life.
